The Columbus Fish Market on Olentangy River Road gets my vote for a great seafood restaurant. I think I have tried nearly everything on the menu, and I also order off the menu.

Oysters on the half shell through a Bloody Mary, the entrée and crème brulee – it’s all a wonderful trip. Not only is the food wonderful, but the service is outstanding and begins the moment I enter. The wait people are always friendly, efficient and accommodating, and the seating is always comfortable whether in the bar or dining area.

My friends and I are older and perhaps pickier, but we can find nothing wrong with this fine seafood restaurant. Even with the price of gas as it is, we will travel from Pataskala to get a fine meal here.

The Columbus Fish Market is definitely a destination restaurant, and we will return time and again. 

What a fabulous meal! We started with two appetizers: the BBQ Shrimp and Steamed Littleneck Clams in a delicious butter-garlic sauce (perfect for dipping the hot bread that arrived just after we ordered). The special for the evening was a 2-lb. Dungeness Crab. The meat was incredibly sweet and plentiful. The finish to the meal (Sharkfin Pie) was so wonderful with a huge strip of rich peanut butter through the middle and you could tell it was extremely fresh. Service was quick and attentive -- thanks, Shelly! We arrived at 7 PM on a Saturday without reservations and waited about an hour for a table but the wait was well worth it. What a Columbus gem this restaurant continues to be!

Every time we visit the Fish Market it's nothing but enjoyable. The staff are very professional and friendly and are eager to recommend entrees off their fabulous menu. It is by far the best seafood in Columbus, really the best I have ever had.
